What is the process of Driving Licence renewal in India?

Permanent driving licences are issued by the government and are valid for a limited period of time. Vehicle owners are required to hold a valid driving licence to drive their vehicles in their respective states. This is in accordance with most state laws, and owners are required to stay compliant with the law.

To be able to drive legally, the vehicle owner must have a valid driving licence that has not expired. Upon the expiry of the driving licence, owners are required to renew it for further usage.
